I have a 03 ram 2500 4x4 quad cab diesel AUTOMATIC[:'(](WEAK) anyways i have just under 70 000 miles on it and thats when my extended warranty runs out and its making like a shuttering noise when going into high gear (sometimes not all the time) i took it to my local dealer and they said it was only my aftermarket exaust rubbing the frame and charged me a arm and a leg to tell me that and bend a bracket and on the way home it does it again and till this day..... About a week before i took it to the dealer i changed the trans fluid and used mopar atf+4 and a filter from the dealer so i know i got the right fluid in it and checked it afterwards the level was fine. if someone knows what the heck is going on with my tranny please tell me before i have to spend over 4000 to replace it

do you by chance have a programmer on your truck???

I'm wondering if the torque converter is slipping. . .and you dont have to spend 4K to make it better. . .if the TC is bad, an aftermarket one is easy to install. . .but while your at it put in a new billet input shaft, aftermarket valve body and you will have a whole new truck.

 

no programmer just a k&n fipk and a 4 inch turbo back exaust will the torque converter help it pull any better ? and where can i get it?
