Default MT MTZ's?

Anyone running the new Mickey Thompson MTZ's? Looking for opinions on them. Are they good off road? How quiet are they on the street compared to other mud tires? Wear?

Considering a set of the 375/60/R 18's and just looking to see how these are doing....

I have got the 395/65/R18. I like them a lot. I have had a lot of mud tires from x-terrains, Dirt grips, Super swamper's, and BFG's. For all around performance these tires have been the best. I have about 20000 miles on them and they are wearing good. They do roar a little on the highway but most mud terrains do.Can't really say about off-raod performance my truck weighs a little much for the mud.

WOW, that is like 38" tall and 15 1/2 inches wide....I guess you don't have stock wheels, and they stick out more that a little bit?

Drew, yes, 375's. The 375/60 18's are equiv to a 36x15.50. They should clear the DRC fiberglass fenders and Lorenz or Kore (still trying to decide on the suspension) pretty easy as they claim 37's will work on that setup. Not sure if the width will cause rubbing. May not be an issue with properly backspaced wheels though. Now I just gotta see what Road Armor will charge to custom make a a bumper with the pre-runner guard to fit the extended overhang of those fenders and how much it will cost to chrome plate the beotch (apologies to all you flat black, dark out fans, but I like chrome, it's easy as heck to clean and looks good!).

Still considering the new Kore technical series suspension as that adds 5.5" lift instead of the 3" on the Lorenz and other Kore setups. The 3" lift is what has been the hold up for me on those suspension kits. I know they work well, but I also want the lift for looks. The Technical series looks like it will provide it well, but that kit is pretty damn pricey.

I wish they would offer the Race and Chase kits with the added lift as well....that would be perfect....for the looks AND the wallet!
