here i am at work, tearing my yoda's tranny down to nothing. . .R and 5th syncro's are going out. . .4th syncro is looking alright, going to replace it anyway, 3rd is looking rough. I havent gotten to 1-2 yet, but will here in a few min. . .I'm glad I work where I do cause I needed some large gear pullers and a press to get this done[:'(]


BTW, yes I am getting payed to work on my own crap

if you lived near me i could let you borrow my press and pullers. just used a gear puller to get a brake rotor off the hub on my jeep wrangler. was stuck like a ****.

i think ill stick with my 'sitting at a desk in reletive safety pay' but if you are defending our country.. i'm pretty sure you aren't getting paid near enough... unless you are a defense contractor.. and even then i wouldn't trade ya!

Yes sir. 4th time in as many years.A lot of the extra money will be spent on the Ram--guages, diff cover, SB clutch, maybe a Fass depending on what the fuel pressure guage says...

I'm just an Enlisted aircraft mechanic. I don't make anywhere new what these silly-villian contractors make for doing the same job[:@] Maybe when I retire from the service I can get a high-paying job for doing exactly what I'm doing now and get to wear shorts and tennis shoes while I do it.
