they list them on Geno's for the 2nd gen CTD...

from the Fumoto website, looks like they make it for the Hemi as well... F-106 is the p/n...

you ****y luckers have an axle to protect it!.. what about us 4x2 guys? granted if i get off pavement my front tires sink 6" and therears just start spinning..so offroading isnt a danger..but road dedris could be a problem.. i might not be able to drain into a tall jug either.. but i'm still going to try one in time for my next oil change.. i figure i'll spend the money i'll be saving bychanging it myself.. i'll probably get the one without the nipple for safety sake

you could fab up a little protective plate, I would have to see the underneath of your truck to build it though.

here's a pic of the pan.. it sits about even with the front cross member.. so the drain valve would have nothing protecting it.. whats your thoughts on fabricating a shield?

Wow, thanks for the pic, I really had no idea, your oil pan actually is the lowest point in your front end, I really would not recommend putting that thing down there, probabaly a bad idea unless you were a decent metal fabricator.

yeah..after i got down there and took the pic.. i realizedthe pan was the lowest point.. i'd be scared of even a thrown retread hitting it hard enough to cause a leak.. i guess it'll take me a couple extra steps to change the oil.. no big deal [:'(]

I bought the Fram EZ Drain. Got one for my wife's Jeep, one for my Eclipse and one for my CTD, all from Ebay. The CTD uses model SD-5. Won the bid for $.99 and paid 5 bucks for shipping.

Regards, Glenn
