You shoudn't trust them even that far!!!!! We send alot fo airmen for escort duty actually. I wish I could go back. Still get Indirect fire on a regular basis? While I was there we were hit almost daily. It defintely slows when its cooler outside, or really hot. I would definitely love to go back to Balad.

It's not to bad here anymore. This is my third trip here, and a lot has changed since my first trip in 04. We still get the attacks (4 already today) but most are duds and they rarely hit anything. The weather is really nice this time of year, but will be cold by the time I leave.

Hay Dave, why not get a set of ramps and just have your buddy back your Ram up onto them so that the azz end of the truck is facing down, and yet the front end is still pointing where you want it to be?

Something like this only backing the front wheels up?

My driveway slopes too much for a set of ramps to tilt it the other way. They would have to lift it up 18" to get it level.
I do have a set of ramps, but they can't support the weight of the CTD, don't ask me how I know

Your driveway couldn't possibly slope more than mine. My driveway is a real PITA to work on, but at least I have a driveway !!

Not only does mine slope like that (but toward the street) it also slopes sideways so right now the right front tire is several inches lower than the left front. Remember, I live in government housing[:@]You can't imagine howcheaply constructed it is.
Anyway, besides the house, the truck is 2WD and doesn't have leveling blocks, so it's got a prettygood rake already, andthe length of the truck just compounds the problem.
