Default leave it running?

hey yall just wondering if it was ok to leave my truck running while i fuel it up? i always shut my old gasser down before fillin it up, but since youre not supposed to be turning the diesels on and off like a gas engine i was wondering if it would be safe to leave it running.

I shut mineoff (turbo timer) when fueling if the engines been running awhile but from house to fuel station I leave it running to warm it up.Just my .02

I leave mine running when I fuel up. Then again, I left all my gassers running too.

A turbo timer is a timer that shuts the engine down after you pull the key out. It can either be set to turn off after a certain amout of time or it can be programed to turn off when your egt's reach a certain temp

I always leave my truck running if I'm gonna be less than 5 minutes somewhere. Even though I have the cooldown timer set on my edge @ 300 degrees, I think it's better to just idle them than turn them off and on.
