While you got yur valve cover off, you might aswell do a valve adjustment too.

No problems, the one thing different between the vp44 engine and the cr engine on the valve adjust is the timing mark is behind the breather element. Pull the tube off, use a ratchet handle or something to stick into the element outlet and twist it off (counterclockwise). You'll need a mirror to get a good look at the timing mark, line the mark up, then with a paint pen or something mark the balancer to the front cover. Then adjust the first set of valves. Then rotate the engine over one turn lining the marks up you made on the balancer and front cover and adjust the second set of valves.

i have started this at 3...
ive installed my new BD lift pump kit,switched all the injectors nozzle,only the cover and the heatgrill,intake to go and the camshaft position sensor...
ive broken a bolt on a injector hold on plate...u know that feeling...
a bit more torque and thats it,CLACK HO ****.....
so i have to get one now...ill get a grade 8 bolt tomorrow...9.6 rating on the bolt...
this is very easy save for the last one near the firewall...i u got big arm like mine its very difficult to get the line off....
