Whats the difference between a str8 threw resonator (4040XL) and a str8 threw exhaust (4040)?

both are aero components?

i mean ones a resonator and the other is a exhaust.the resonator is $50 more

The resonator is the only difference. Having the resonator will help quiet it a little, I have the 4040xl.
