Default woo hoo... looks like...

I'll be the newest member of the 600 miler club today... previous best for 3/4 of a tank was 500 miles. That gave me 585 at the pump when I filled up. the dummy light just came on and it took around 34 gallons, so I figure I had another 3 or so gallons in the tank. Today I rolled into work (yeah, work) at 520 miles for 3/4 of a tank. so assuming I get the 17 mpg I've been averaging prior to this tank, I should for sure get over 600 from this point forward.

TST set to economy 2/2

I plan to start a thread here soon when I have more data to share. I realize that my next tank will probably be on the winter blend fuel and the mileage will take a dump but if I run another tank on the E2/2 setting I should have the new baseline.

It's blended with #1 Diesel to help keep the fuel from gelling, unfortunately is has a lower BTU rating so its not as efficient and thus mileage suffers a little. Usually 1 to 2 mpg.[:@]

Yeah, what Cujo said... the good thing is I was able to get in a summer blend test prior to the winter blend so I'll be able to tell you how much I loose.

did 18.27 mpg on that tank. pretty good for my truck. makes me wonder what it'd get if I had stock tires on it lol... IIRC, I lost 2~3 mpg going to the 33's...
