Default malfunction?

when I first got my rig, I could hit thr throttle on the freeway and the trans would kick down, turbo would spool and BLACK smoke would follow till I let off.

now, I hit the throttle, and the turbo spools. no trans kick at all.

Im wondering if its not the tps , trans sensor, or ecm.

any ideas???

Have someone hold the throttle to the floor and check and see if the linkage on the pump hits the stop screw. Cable may have just stretched and you aren't getting full throttle any more.

Ken. . .your truck is just like sharks. . .as it ages things tend to stretch out and stop working properly.
