Default got some new dyno numbers !!

Mustang dynos like some of us were resently on just don't give the numbers like they should for our trucks ! I've also been struggling to get the numbers I felt my truck should have. Well, I finally got them. It's not my goal number but, I'm very happy with these for now :-)

On the dyno about 1350F, on the track about 1500F at the end on the 1/4. 700hp is pushing it on a single charger so those temps aren't too bad. I suppose twins are in my future cause my goal hp is a bit higher :-)

Yeah with twins, I'm gonna try for 900hp or more :-) someone just did 875hp on #2 with twins and our trucks are built close to the same.

I have a Helix II cam. Since the whole engine was done at once I can't say the difference but, I know it does help spooling and EGT's. On it's own it might not do a whole lot but, coupled with several other mods... it's definitaely a benefit.

I'm very angry with you Triton I'm tired with only seeing you say your HP numbers using three numbers. Next time I see a thread from you I won't to here 1003HP not a puny 703HP . But all joking aside those are some nice numbers your truck must fly across the 1/4 what you running like low 12's. And about the twins isn't it true that most high HP deisels are going back to single turbo's rather then twin's? I was reading somewhere that 2years ago twins were everyway but now alot of guys who ran twinturbo's went back to big single turbo's.

I'd like to see him run the 1/4 using stock tires up front and some big *** slicks on the back (same diameter as the fronts though for the 4x4 launch)... those 37"s (? ... I forget how tall they are these days) eat up alot at the track.

I'd put money on being in the mid to upper 11's by just taking off the 37's. I wouldn't need slicks launching in 4x, just my stock rims and tires I think would be enough. As is, my best time is 12.6@109

Sorry Nicky.... 700hp was hard enouogh. !000hp isn't out of the question and by next season I'm hoping to be close :-)
