LMAO, that was too funny,, especially the last couple lines. That really is how it was when I was in BMT. I had a guy from New York tell everyone about how bad he was with a gun,,,,, he would hold it sideways,,,,,,,,, yeah, what an idiot. On the range, he was next to me,, we both fired 3 shots, my target had 6 holes in it. Needless to say, he didn't qualify with his weapon. The bad thing is that AF boot camp is like summer camp,,,, guys were still complaining and falling out,, I thought most of it was funny.

The basic story is kinda funny - - when we qualified somehow I ended up w/ two full 30 round mags -- the goal wasn't for me to hit 40/40 but to get both me and the gal next to me to qualify...which I did of course

or if your on the paper targets use the black skillcraft pens to punch holes into the target the same size as the .223 ammo.
another thing we did was take the ones that scored 38 or better or those we knew can shoot and stack targets behind the first one.

would you also believe me if I told you I have qualified 36/40 on the pop up range while shooting the M16 standing
oh, and the targets that didnt go down were the 200 and 150mtr targets[:@]

You two are fine examples of our tax dollars at work . Can I tell you how many times we played Jeapordy with the high dollar powerpoint at my unit in Homestead. Yeah, I'll admit, if anyone thinks Air Force basic is hard,,,,, well,,,, they must have been spoiled children,, very spoiled. I laughed my way through it,, I did lose like 10 lbs though. In tech school all I did was go to class, eat, run and work out,, ahhhhh, those were the days,,, I even got drunk on the weekends,,, was kinda like college.
