Default What coupler do u need for CP3 POrt?

CP3 is the lift pump on all 2003 and newer 5.9 cummins right? They r located on the DS of engine in front of the fuel filter mounted onto the timing cover. What coupler do we need to tap into that to check idling psi? What or where is there a chart to show the PSI at given rpms? (to check lift pump psi) Is there any other pumps? is there a pump in the fuel tank (electric)? or is the CP 3 the only fuel pump on a 2004 dodge?

TheCP3 is the high pressure injection pump (replaces VP44 - it's on the drivers side front of the engine). There is another pump (lift pump) that pumps fuel from the tank through the filter to the CP3. I haven't looked but I think it's outside the tank - not sure about that though. As far as a fitting to tap it, the best answer is a tapped banjo bolt to replace the bolt that attaches the top line that goes into the CP3, Then attach your hosefitting thatgoes to the FP gauge. see here: http://www.dieselmanor.com/dm_products/DM-DBBLT.asp
