I'll take a beefier bottom end with heavier main bearings of a 5.9 work engine any day of the week over the bottom end of any unweildly V8 diesel no matter how much bigger the displacement. That's why your typicalCummins willlast over a half million milesun-modified and working every day of their life with routine maintinence whereas for a Duramax or Powerstroke to last that many miles would be considered quiet EXTRAORDINARY...

i would love a CTD too...

im obsessed with them, even though i drive a hemi, the loud CTD's always catch my eye and make my mouth water.. especielly seeing a big black cloud of smoke.

 

yes.... this is still what turns us on. if and when you get a diesel you will understand that its somthing you will NEVER get sick of!

.... unless you are the type to sell your cummins for a jeep[:'(] and it must be a jeep thing because i have and will never understand
