I have a 98 dodge ram2500 24 valve diesel and I'm looking to buy some clear cormer lamps. I'm not sure which ones will work. I don't have the sport model, the lamps are mostly listed as "Clear Corner Lamps 94-01 Dodge Ram Pick up, except Sport and 2500 diesel". What the heck? I know there's a difference between the sport and non sport headlights but what would be different about a non sport 2500 diesel? That brings me to my next question, what is difference about sport and non sport front ends as far as hoods, grills, fenders, headlights? Are they all different or some interchangeable? Reason for asking is because I would like to buy a sport grille if it would fit? Thanks for any info.

I actually just pulled a corner lamp from my brothers 01 1500 sport and tried to put it in my 98 and it didn't work. They look the same but the mounting tabs are different. That makes me wonder about the other parts like the grille. I would imagine the mounting spots would be different also.
