Help me buy the last 5.9 in the USA
Fletch,
I am new to this forum, and just read through this thread. It is amazing what you have had to go through living there in Zimbabwe. Also MORE than amazing what you have had to go through to get a RHD Dogde CTD truck delivered to you!
I visited southern Africa a few years ago, and it is an incredible place. A shame that Mugabe is still in power there.
Just for all the effort, and what might be one of the few RHD 2007 CTD's in the world, your truck definitely gets my vote for Dodge of the Month! Good luck!

Are you having everything you want modified on the truck done while they're doing theRHD conversion?I guess what I'm wondering is if you want to do other upgrades later oncan you order the parts and have them shipped to your house inzimbabwe reliablywithout any troubles?
I should be able to order through Cummins in South Africa. The beauty of the cummins... they everywhere.
It's expensive though, and not quick. I will be doing all the servicing for the truck as there is no where to take a Dodge here.
Most of the mods I wanted were done in the states...

Hey Fletch, just read through your post, and am impressed at your dedication! I am in NZ, and we are going to the states to buy a ram in october. You refer to the co. that did your RHD conversion as being the best, any reason why? I recognise the hill in the background as being Mount Manganui, so I assume they are in Tauranga somewhere?
Also have read a few comments about dodge dealers not being allowed to sell to foreigners, has anyone got any links to something re this? I know a lot of guys bring in used trucks, but we want to get a new one, so obviously have to go through a dealer. Any help appreciated there.
