i wrote a whole DIY when i did them... check it out!
Didn't have to remove the headliner completely... just had to drop the front down a couple inches. After doing it, I think it would be possible to do it withoutlowering the headliner at all, however it is so easy that you might as well, just to make it easier on ya.
On the 06 and 07, there is still a factory plug in the passenger pillar, but it has 5 wires instead of 2, so you have to test them to see which ones to use (very easy). Over all, there was nothin to it .
