so i brought my truck to the dealer today so i can have them do the u joint in the fornt knuckle on the passangers side...2 caps just fell off while i was drivin down the road..the grease is still present and greasy so i have no idea.....but what i didnt think about is, are they gunna automatically do the out-of-park alarm? should i request that they dont do it? because i DO NOT want it. im capable of making sure the truck is in park and not rolling before i get out. i dont need the horn to go off and lights to flash when i put the truck in reverse

You better call them and ask that they don't do it. They are "supposed" to do it because it is a "safety" issue. They should check for recalls when you take it in. And they may perform it without telling you in advance. Once its done, there is no un-doing it.

When you drop it off, ask them and then make surethey write it down on the work order to not flash your truck.
