Dan MacDonald is the guy you want to talk to about this whole thing. Sucks that you alredy re-welded it, I'm sure they would have sent you a new unit.

Shoot him an email

I believe I am just going to drop the situation...alread re welded and replaced all the hoses and tubes and works good with no leaks..no need to stress it..was told by Ken who talked to Dan that no money will be sent and only a new unit if needed which I dont..so its all good..was just stressful!

Well, it's your decision to drop the situation... which is entirely within your right. From our vantage point, customer service was lacking in your situation. Most vendors (i.e. Genos) would have probably shipped you a replacement unit as soon as you identified the problem. (That's the partI don't understand.)

A happy client will tell someone else about the product that is looking for that solution... an unhappy client will tell everyone they see how lousy they were treated.

They probably are right, that they aren't liable for replacing pieces that you replaced in an effort to trouble-shoot the problem. I think they should have been a lot more pro-active to get you fixed up and satisfied.

Knowing myself the way I do, once I get a bad taste in my mouth, with the product; if I could get my money back I'd take it off and send it back I would. But I guess that isn't practical and apparantly they know that.

I thought they were suppose to have a 4 year warranty or something like that???? I guess that is BS.

Just like I found out that the Sundowner Trailer 3 year bumper to hitch warranty doesn't really cover everything from bumper to hitch like they claim that it does. Their warranty department was so rude, they hung up on me while I was talking to them on the phone.

I don't get it.

Why is everyone jumping on FASS's case?

At what point in this whole mess didn't FASS stand behind their product? I feel pretty confident that had NC sent his FASS back to them that they would have replaced it for him. He instead chose to repair it himself. How is this FASS's fault?

I'm sorry, I just don't see how it's fair to rip on FASS when they didn't even get a chance to fix the problem.

NC, I feel REAL bad about what happened to you, Ireally do,however I think the same thing could have happened to you with ANY fuel pump, and that NO manfacturer is always 100% defect free. Unfortunately, you just got the lemon.

I felt myself asking the same question and I agree with you.
