Thanks for the help on the questions. I now have a better understanding of what means what and have a better idea on what mods I want to make. Your answers have really been a ton of help.

aero, i took it in for service, but knew a few weeks in advance so i returned it to stock and did quite a few key cycles in case they checked that. if they questioned the low number of cycles, i was goin to tell them the key was left on so i pulled the batteries to charge em. think they would buy my story???

I've heard of quite afew guys doin that....If you brought it to me and it had less than say 50 at least I might ask what happened to reset your comp....

LOL you could just keep ya some ****ty batteries around for this type thing, toss in the ****ty ones and tell um you bought some new ones a day earlier and you'll toss um in once their done with whatever service their doin...Then your comp is reset and and you gota good excuse for why your batts are dying...hell keep thegood ones in the bed and tellthem just stopped by autozone on the way in!
