Hard starting when its cold out????

Default Hard starting when its cold out????

Hey guys, I have a 95 Ram Dump, with the CTD.. When it hasnt been running for a couple of days, Its very hard to start..I have to keep my foot on the peddle a little to get it to start and to keep it running...Does anyone know what the problem is..

check the fuel filter, then lift pump. it sounds like the lift pump is losing its prime. How cold out is it?

I just replaced the fuel filter about 500 miles ago, Its around the freezing mark at night, where is the lift pump located??
