I'm thinking of trading my 2003 5.9 3500 for a 2007 (new) 6.7 3500. I haul a Articfox 990 camper and 21' jetboat. I like the 6 seed auto transmission and the jake brake. Just wondering how the 5.0 compares to the 6.7 in power and millage and if anyone has had both and your thoughts.

A buddy of mine has the 6.7...Id take my 5.9 over it any day, how ever I may change my mind once I ride in one with the mods to it...but I doubt it

 

mileage is lower, however people who have traded up for the 6spd auto are saying it is a night and day difference when it comes to towing.

my only problem I have with the 6.7 is dodge is still working the bugs out of the emissions system the EPA is mandateing on these trucks.

 

Drew, I noticed at a local dealer they had recall stickers on the 07's. Not sure if this is what you are talking about, or if the stickers are for something else. Has there been some recalls?
