Default Oil leaking from tube?

I have a 1998 Ram 2500 with the 24 valve diesel engine. I have been noticing a small amount of oil dripping on my garage floor. Upon further inspection it is coming from a 1/2-3/4 inch tube that starts high on the drivers side of the engine towards the firewall and terminates just above my front differential. It is dripping right on top of the u-joint. It almost looks like some sort of overflow tube. Does anyone know why oil is dripping from the tube and whether I should be worried about it? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

it's called a blow tube. Some oil is completely normal, especially in a older truck. People have installed little bottles over the tube to keep the oil off the truck. Did you recently change the oil ? You could have put too much back in which would be a reason you're seeing it.
