Wheel Hop!

RE: Wheel Hop!
Your best bet is replace the stock leafs and get a set of full leafs (the stocker rubber bushings suck and eyelet location/shackles and not mucharch of the stockers). Also if your going off road you need to drop the tire pressure down. Least favorable would be getting traction bars, unless your truck is going sky high lift or racing on the track. It's only going to get worse if you put on bigger tires.

I know! This is an old thread, but the problem still exists. From all the reading I've done, it is plain and simple. The cushy springs we have wrap up from torque, then when they spring back into shape you get the hop. I think Triton is right on the money, traction bars are going to be the only "cure" short of completely different spring packs.
