my 03 abs light came on this weekend. when ever i turn it off then crank it back up it goes off. then comes back on after 2-3 minutes. the funny thing is that the speedo will jump around tell the light comes on? whats up with that?

 

the speedo and ABS are part of the same system. You need to check to see what the code is that's being set. For ABS problems, you're likely going to have to go to the dealer for repair.

 

refresh my memory on how to check the codes.

 

you turn the key to the "on" position then off 3 times. but dont start the engine. i hope that makes sence.

P0483 = Control Fan Rationality Check Malfunction

You may just check with the dealer about it. There could be a updated flash that deals with this

 

wonder why nothing come up on the abs. should i run it till it comes on the stop it and try?

 

some codes clear themselves after so many starts. There's been many occations people just get burps in the system and never see the issue again. That could be your case. I know you're not under warranty but, for an hour labor at the dealer, you could have them hook up a StarScan to tell you what's going on.
