Exhaust Question?

What is the stock exhaust pipe on a 2004.5 CTD? (Stainless Steel or otherwise) Can it be welded with a normal stick welder or does it require a special welder? Thanks.

It is aluminized steel. As for welding it i wouldnt use a a stick welder chances are you will burn threw the metal. You need to use a MIG welder imo.
