Malfunction light back on!
Has anyone with the 6.7 been having the problem I am with the malfunction light coming on all the time? Just had the recall done with the o2 sensor and thought that may have done it but its back on again. This is 13 times since July? Back to the shop again.
I've hadmy truck since June and had two CELs. One got me a new turbo, the other was a loose fuel cap.
I think after 13 tripsfor service, I'd have a little heart to heart discussion with someone in management at the dealership. That is a significant investment of your time and probably actionable under the lemon laws. Start by talking nicely (but firmly) with the management, pointing out how much time you've spent at the dealership seeking warranty repair and thatyou continue to have issues. Collect and organize all your repair records and keep track of every visit and conversation you have (including names and dates). Carefully read the lemon law literature that came with your vehicle and understand how it applies in your state.
Hopefully you'll get it fixed, but you should be prepared for the alternative. Good luck.

P2000-NOX ADSORBER EFFICIENCY BELOW THRESHOLD - BANK 1
Theory of Operation
The engine aftertreatment system monitors the O2 content in the diesel engine exhaust. The ECM monitors the exhaust gases for oxygen content and varies the rich/lean fuel mixture of the intake air fuel mixture to adjust system. This diagnostic measures the Oxygen storage capability of the NOx Adsorber Catalyst. The ECM will set the fault if it detects that the Nox Adsorber performance is lower than expected. The ECM will illuminate the MIL lamp immediately when the diagnostic runs and fails. The ECM will turn off the MIL lamp diagnostic runs and passes in four consecutive drive cycles
Possible Causes
EXHAUST, EGR OR INTAKE LEAKS
DEGRADED OR POISONED NAC
USE OF HIGH SULFUR FUEL
TAMPERING OR REMOVAL OF THE NAC
O2 SENSOR FAILED IN-RANGE
MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR
Hope this sheds some light on the subject.......
