Default Shock Question

I went to autozone and I was looking at getting some bilstein shocks, but they had two different kinds listed for a 2002 2500. One was for above 8400 lb GVW and the other was for 5600-7200lb GVW. Genosgarage only has one listed so which one do I get? Thanks for the help

well unless you want a stiffer suspension, you'll want to stay with a OEM set up which would be the 5600-7200. The more heavy duty 8400lbs shock will be tigher and stiffer. Geno's I would recommed to anyone but, this is also a great place to buy shocks from....

Thanks triton[sm=icon_cheers.gif]. I figured the guy ordered it wrong when the fronts were for 7200 and the back were for 8400. BTW I went with the 7200lb ones

Burban2002 or anyone else,
How do you like your 5600-7200lb Bilstein shocks on your 2500? I have been searching posts for a few days now trying to decide between the 7200 or the 8400 HO shock. What has anyone found to be the best? My truck is a 97 2500, and I am looking to improve the ride unloaded on backcountry asphalt roads, you know the kind that feel like your driving down a concrete boat ramp! Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump.
