Cant keep truck in overdrive pulling? 2004.5 ram
I have a ram 2500 diesel 5.9 cummins 2004.5 quad cab 4X4. I brought my new camper (2008 cougar 304bhs 34 foot 7600 lbs dry) home the other day. iwent through hilly terrain and couldnt keep overdrive on(which i expected i guess) I had to push the towhaul button and go about 90 km hour. it revs higher because its locked in 3rd but whatever. my ? is the trailer was dry empty and not even loaded. Will a edge juice attitude, with a and e filter intake and CATYLIC CONVERTER REMOVAl help me pull this unit? will it allow me to stay in overdrive or not?
It should. However you might be better off in tow haul mode as it will put less stress on transmission with keeping the right gear for the right amount of time. they have programmers with specifis for towing. My predator has a tow mode. I know s/c does.

what other units specifically apply to towiing? are there any bad ones.? I heard bullydog systems can wreck truck or that they dont have protective measures built in like edge?is this true?
Would removing just CAT be my best bet? or leave cat and delete muffler only?
