There is a guy here in Houston that is selling an Injector pump Brand New in the box for the 5.9L he is asking $450 on craigslist. I emailed him to ask what model, year, mopar or aftermarket, ect and I am waiting for a reply.

I'm still waiting for a reply from the guy. I don't know anything about it except its brand new in the box and for the 5.9 cummins.
Hopefully he will get back to me tonight and tell me what the hell it is. Hell if it fits my truck, I might buy it for a spare at that price.

 

Ok the guy emailed back and said it is a "DP44" and fits 98 tru 02 5.9L cummins.

 

I'd get the model number off of it and make sure you know which one you are getting. There are about 3 or 4 different models of the VP44. Some are for the 235hp engines, some are for the HO engines and some are for the mid sized truckslike Freightliner FL60's. I don't think any of them are interchangeable.

There are also some that have been mod'ed aftermarket like the BlueChip FedEx units and the High Performance hot rodded ones.
