and I guess I should actually make a comment on this:

OK this is really really silly.....like all of you guys said it is a internet poll...not the freaking presidency of the US or anything. To have to go out to other sites and at promote the poll is a bit childish if you ask me.

Yeah we talk about the vote in HERE! That is where it is supposed to be talked about...but I don't think any of us CTD folks have jumped into any other sub-forums to comment on what they are saying (ok 3rd gen doesn't count) little alone go to our other sites and ask for votes.

The last time any of us did that the member saw the error of his ways....went back to his site...asked to have the vote restarted & told us all to stay out of it.

If you guys wanna give me a gut check here are my active sites:
http://dodgetruckworld.tenmagazines.com/ew/forums.asp
http://www.dodgetalk.com/forums/ <--- ok this one must be blocked it's dodge talk blah blah blah
http://www.dieseltruckresource.com/dev/index.php
http://www.nwbombers.com/forum/index.php?
http://www.dieselbombers.com/

I use the EXACT same log in on EVERY one of them.

Now Sin I'm sure your gonna see this and get all up in arms about it and you know what FINE go right ahead and preach on about how there is no harm in promoting it and you said 'if your a member there'. What ever Dude...this obviously means WAAAYY more to you. You apparently need this win much more.

Hands down you win both votes...and I'm not brown-nosing either. Both Ram's have very minimal mods, and the black Hemi one is BEGGING for taller/wider tires and decent wheels.

Those Stratus' are real nice looking, but they're just cool... SRT8 is badass, period.

I'm not a member though, so imaginary votes only.[/align]

You would think that the TOTM poll was tied to the New England Patriots for all the silly conspiracy talk that has passed through these threads over the past couple of weeks.

1) I have attempted to get more people interested in the Truck of the Month program by including a link to the poll in my signature. This link was generic in nature - anyone who chose to click it was welcome to make their own choice for whom to vote for, if anyone at all. All of the posts I have made over the past month have been on-topic in nature, for the most part within the various Dodge Trucks subforums, plus a couple of responses within the Off-Topic area. At no time did I wander through the sections of the site for vehicles I don't own or know about and randomly post ***** to try and get more attention.

2) I posted a link on my own website, asking people who are members of both sites (there's more than you think)who may not normally pay attention to the TOTM poll on this site to come and take a look at this month's poll. Yes, I hope they vote for me (DUH!) but it's not like I'm forcing anyone to do so. God forbid someone should actually help PROMOTE traffic to this site. Make sure you don't mentionthis to BadStrat, I think hesubconsciously enjoys running around zapping all the traffic leeches with a cattle prod - don't ruin the illusion thatreferrals only flow away from here.

3) I have absolutely nothing negative to say about tdmopar59 or lilfroger or their trucks - I have said many positive things about them, and have criticized more than one dak/dur owner who complained about aspects of the TOTM contest. However, if you even remotely think that either of them don't want to win the TOTM contest as much as I would like to, then you're f'ing high on drugs.

4) It's a plain fact that the Ram/CTD population on this site easily dwarfs any other individual vehicle group. A significant percentage of you in this area have publicly declared that you're going to vote fortdmopar59 or lilfrogerjust because they're your friend or you like their type of vehicle. I have no problem with this - that's the way these contests work. However, I think it's really damned stupid for people to complain that I'm trying to scavenge as many votes as I can from the other sources, without slinging mud at either of my opponents. If people are only supposed to solicit votes from within their own vehicle group, you might as well dump the whole TOTM concept and just call it "Ram/CTD of the Month - forget the rest, we'll never let them win". Your own members have even discussed this disproportionate ratio in TOTM-related threads here recently...

I'm tired of the crap, I'm not going to apologize for trying to encourage people to vote.

PS - Go Pats! (After my Broncos choked like they didin Chicago, I'm converting for the rest of the year).
