I got a recall on my 6.7 oxygen sensor, and module anyone else get the same?? do I need to worry, I like my truck the way it is... It dosent do the reverse honk thing and I don't want it to!!! any Ideas?

 

We got it too...said it was for emissions stuff because it didn't conform to the standards from the wonderful state of Cali...I just checked that box that said 'sold back to dealer' and dropped it back in the box though so I don't have the code or anything. I bet if you post that up Parts or one of the other guys can tell ya exactly what it is gonna be.

I am getting mine done on thursday.

 

It is the G30 recall. All they do is change the O2 sensor module (15 minutes) and check to see if you have the latest software flash (currently version AV). I had mine done and would recommend getting it done when you get a chance.

BTW - Your truck will not honk in reverse. That "feature" is not needed on the six speed auto.

 

is this only for newer rams? mines a 2004.5 will i get one

 

This is only for the 6.7L truck (2007-8 built before sometime in October).
