Default P0237 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

I just installed the Edge programmer and I got the code P0237 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low, and my fuel pressure is low. Are these two things related? I've found out so far that the low fuel pressure is generally cause by the lift pump going out. My truck alreadyhad this replaced before I bought it. It had the service records with it and it said the pump was "retrofitted to tank". Does that mean its 'inside' the tank? And what is the p0237 code about? This is my first diesel so I'm learning as I go. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Thanks

Is or WAS the Edge ever unplugged while you had the truck running?

If you unplug the harness from the Edge without plugging the MAP sensor back in you'll get that code.

I did anyway ....

Could be that you didn't get one of the map sensor connectors fully seated or that they have a bad contact in them. I would pull them apart and put a little dielectric grease on them. Clear the codes and then see if they come back. If they do I would disconnect the harness and drive around stock for a while and see if it comes back.
