lets see. . .hopefully smarty will be my next buy. . .then depending on how my clutch handles things will determine if I get wheels next or upgrade the clutch. somewhere in there my stock lift pump may die so a walbro kit is in the works.

BTW, yes, my stock lift pump was able to keep up with smarty #5 and my TST at 4/2 without defueling

fuel temp? never heard of that? only heard of fuel pressure.....thats cool!
Ideally I'd like to find out what fuel temp & air temp yield the most power (less smoke, better mileage) problem is finding a gauge to read it in the cab. I'd need one that went from about 40~50f to 100~150 full scale, full sweep.

were you watching the rail pressure at all? I see mine dropping down to 10~12k with the power turned up. kinda points to needing the walbro setup.

I dont have a rail pressure gage. . .I was listeneing to the engine and watching the exhaust. . .I didnt hear any popping and the exhaust was a good dark black so I knew I had enough pressure to feed.

Yup, same color even

BTW, how heavy is it? I've heard that adding a weighted shift **** makes the shifts smoother. Seems like it would, but I think it could also be hard on the shift rails/forks.

it's not that heavy. . .but what it did do is raise the overall height of the shifter. to me if feels better in my hand than the stocker. . .and yes I do have a DIY on replaceing it.

Well I figure I'll do one of the Mayfair mods(thebattery minder, block heaterrelocation one)this week or the next, other than that I think I am about done. Well I'm still kicking around the idea of doing a cam, but I'll wait a while on that one now.
