Does a edge juice have to be programmed for your axle ratio? I have a 2004.5 dodge ram 5.9 cummins.(325 HP) Is mine the HO 600 series engine? anywyas can i just buy any edge juice attitude for my 2004.5 ram? is it ok to buy a used one? Do any edge juices accept internet updates and have turbo cool down mode?

Does a edge juice have to be programmed for your axle ratio? No, the sensor is in the differential and measures the speed of the carrier.

is it ok to buy a used one? Yes, I did the same thing.
Do any edge juices accept internet updates and have turbo cool down mode? No internet updates, and the older ones that haven't been sent back to Edge won't have a turbo timer. The one I bought off Ebay didn't. I called Edge and they said to bring the box in and they would reprogram it. So I took the juice off the truck and took it to them (I live 10 miles away) and paid $50.
They called me the next day and said it was ready. When I picked it up, it was a completely new unit with another Attitude monitor, pyro probe, etc. It was a new unit. My original one had theharness coming directly out of the juice. The new one had a seperate harness and a plug on the Juice. It made the install even easier since I could route the wires easier and then when I was done, just plug it into the Juice.
If you buy one from someone, they usually won't send the pyro probe with it, so you'd have to buy another one for $40. If you get an older J/A, send it to them and for $50 you'll hopefully get a new pyro probe for free.
