Default BUMMER!!

Went out on a vehicle accident the other day with my vfd 03 dodge 3500, about a 20 mile run one way, in route had lights and sirens going but could hear some growling noise, Arrived and we worked the scene, loaded up and headed back and then I could really hear it, the rearend was howling bad. If i let up it went away, throttle er up and howling again. anyway it was also having a problem with it not having acc pedal when first started, would have to shut it off and restart then acc pedal would work, took it to the local dealer (100) miles away. After I drove it there the rear end was really screaming. Talked to the service manager and luckily it is still under warranty. So hope to have my firetruck back soon, At least I have a 04 3500 here to replace it but it is only a reg cab instead of my quad, but it will have to do, BTW it only had 8200 miles on it when the rear went!

That kind of stuff happens, I dont blame the pickup, these firetrucks see some pretty ugly country, as they say sh*t happens
