So does your new winter front block the in coming air from the holes bumper? You would be surprised how much cold air goes through those holes in your bumper.

I'll tell you one thing, it seems to run faster without having all of the air entering under the hood. The Ram seems more streamlined and aerodynamic, somehting I wasn't expecting at all but I'll take it. ANYTHING I can do to improve MPG's is a welcomed improvement.
I did the same to my grille but with luan plywood painted black. I left the bumper slots open. My temp goes up faster past210 and then coasts back down to 190 and stays there. Love the no cost mods. Like your yard too. Can never have too much homer.
