I can't believe no one likes the redesign. Considering how bad the new fords and chevies turned out, I think it's great that Dodge didn't mess with the look too much.
What it really looks like is the Dakota guys finally got their wish. Looks like a cross between a F150 and a Dakota and the 6.7l Cummins will be an option.
Does look like a Ford/Toyota in the front and the flares look like the ones on the Fords....[:'(][:'(] What is that on the rear fender.....[:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(]
And by the way, is that some kind of storage box on the side of the bed??
Yep, its one of the options (or a variation of what I saw) they are offering. I got to see a couple of previews earlier this year at a market research "thing". They actually look better up close but it did have to grow on me.
The back seats were roomier in what I saw (and more comfortable) and easier to get in/out of that the chevy or ford.
Lets see, some of the other options were power extending mirrors, Allison transmission, a cargo mgmt system and under floor storage.
Now, I dont know what has actually made it in but it'll be nice to find out. Hopefully they listened to my "constructive" criticism.....
So they going to scrap the 6-speed auto they are using now?
You know, I really don't know. We couldn't really tell what year these were for but I suppose its a possibility if this new body style shows up in '09.
