Keeping in neutral is about the worst thing you can do for gas mileage... 0 mpg last time I calculated it.

Before I had my truck I hoped/thought that 4Lo would lock the diffs... that would have been sweet [:@].

They might as well be locked. I can't get just one wheel to spin to save my life. Every time I spin em, there are to solid black marks. And yes I have the LSD, the only time I notice one wheel spin, is turning on to a road when its wet then I can feel the inside whell breaking loose. I haven't had it in the mud yet so I don't know what the front axle will do yet.

Please excuse me, I'm going to play dumb for a second,, and I'm sure I'll get roasted on it. So our front ends are not locked in and will spin independently when in 4wd?

I haven't had mine in the mud yet, so I haven't had use 4wd. Are these trucks better than the 1500s in the mud/snow? My old Hemi did all right in the mud/snow, but I hunt about 5 miles from pavement and about 2 hrs away from home and it always made me a little nervous in the mud. If I get stuck I'm screwed. I hope my 2500 will do a little better.
