Default FASS Question

If you didnt know, I installed the FASS system about 2 months ago. I am heading to Maine thursday and its been really cold up there. I understand the FASS does not have a fuel heater but I DO have the fuel running through my stock filter housing to heat the fuel a little bit.

The Questions:

1. How often are you suppost to change the fuel filter on the FASS? (I have the LARGE filters, not the smaller ones 150 not 95) I have drained the water once but never changed the filter.

2. Is there and additive I can add to the fuel to help it from gelling when I am in Maine?

i also got to remeber to plug er in at night!

thanks!

There are plenty of additives to keep your fuel from jelling. Most popular are Power Service and Stanadyne. I change my filterevery 15k (I also replaec the water seperator/strainer to insted of cleaning it)
