Bad Sensor?
Well they put in the new ECM today, the check engine light is gone. I think I have to replace all my fuel filters though. After she was all warm I got on her, very very little smoke (turbo was already at 10 psi before I hit her) EGTs stay in check fuel pressure gage never went below 9 psi but it was bouncing between that and 12 really fast. I let off the go pedal slowed down in sixth to 60 went to grab 4 and she died. No CEL I tried to restart seemed like it just wasn't gettiing fuel, I popped the hood flipped the drain on the filter, definitely pressurized. My buddy was with so I grabbed my wrench cracked an injector line and had him crank, sure enough just a little bit of air, not much cracking just the one she would stumble for like 5 seconds. So I cracked another one, she fired right up. I figure I just got a little air in the line and it could be my filters on the FASS system because I haven't changed those yet but I've changed my stock filter up front because of the cold/gelling. I've changed the stock one twice and both times I've pulled it my fuel pressure went from less than 3 back up to full and the needle would stay at 15, now I have no filter up front and the pressure started to move last time it was real cold. It is warm today close to freezing and I have a 50/50 blend in so I know my fuel isn't gelling, plus the truck just came out of a heated shop for the ECM work. Anything else it could be? Other than that the truck runs great. I figure if it was getting a little air in the lines that's why no smoke, if new filters don't make her smoke then it might be time to stack boxes as I was just running the edge.
I never ran the FASS with the stock filter in place so I can't help you there. I still run the fuel through the empty stock fuel filter housing though. You'll hafta cut the o-ring off of the stock fuel filter to do that though. I ran it this wat so that I can continue to use the fuel heater.
