My choices are between BFG AT's, Toyo Open Country AT's and Pro-Comp Ext AT's.

Have had several sets of BFG AT's and they all worn like iron. Min 50K out of them all, never on a 3/4 ton up but good mileage on everything they've been on.

Bud's with Toyo's have had zero complaints about them.

Lots of guys running the PC Ext AT's, so that's a good sign.

Thanks for the input guys. I am running into a size issue though. According to the tag in my door my wheels are only 6 inches wide. This causes me to be very limmited with my tire width. Here is the following width recomendations.

Pro Comp AT: 265/70/17 is recomended to have a wheel size of 7.0-8.5
BFGoodrich AT: 245/75/17 is recomended to have a wheel size of 6.5-7.5

I am afraid that the tires are going to wear like crap if I run a tire that is to wide for the wheel. This is really going to screw me on my tire selection.

Let me know what you guys think.

My last dually was 2wd, the rears were Cooper Discoverer. They worked well with a fairly agressive tread pattern, & were smooth on the highway. fronts were all season radials, I don't remember the brand.

My truck is a 2003 3500 Cummins Dually 2wd 6spd. I have just realized that I have 2 accounts on here and I don’t have my signature on this one. Not sure how I ended up with 2 but I did.

I will have to look into what cooper has available. How did they wear?

I was very happy with the tread life, but I don't have any mileage #'s to give you. I just plain don't remember. This truck was not my daily driver. It was used mostly to pull my enclosed car trailer, & haul dirt bikes.

I got BFG Load E285 75 16's on my 3/4 ton right now they got almost 70,000 miles on them and i am just getting ready to replace them. They have been great tires but i am going to change to the cooper disover s/t's. I heard good things about 'em and they are way cheaper.
