catch on fire on the way to the dealer? do you think i should just have it towed...we just moved into this house..all the tools, all the lubricants, all the everything is stilll packed away in boxes and it sucks...soo cant do anything here really at all!

That does suck. Its your call, although would it be possible to put a small piece of hose over the leak and tighten it down with hose clamps?

tried that..its soo close to the engine block or i guess its the VP44 if i remeber right that u cant get a hose clamp around it...lol im **** outa luck either way..just wanta get it to the dealer and have it done with![:@]

What about a zip tie?

Edit: is there any way you can snap a pic of the area so I can see what we are working with?

Another idea, you could go to radioshack and get some of that heat shrink wrap tubing, slide it around the fitting and maybe that would stop it

damn keep them coming..but i think im gunna go with the zip tie...what should i put under it? a piece of think cloth?? just need to go to the dealer is about it!

I think the cloth would stop a lot of it but not stop it maybe a piece of rubber would work. Is the leak on the metal banjo fitting or on a piece of tubing?

have you got aaa, have you got a bud who has,they tow, even if you don't i wouldn't take the chance on losing my truck for a few bucks in towing costs.
