Default High idle?

I've heard there is a way to program the cruise controls to set a high idle, is that so? How?
My 06 never high idles, I'd like to bump the idle during warm up, it's freaking cold here.

With the truck in Park turn on your cruise control. Then use the accel button to bring up the RPM's.

If nothing happens then the dealer can enable it. If it's an auto & has cruise control it is a quick in and out the door. If it is a stick or doesn't have cruise ... well then it might be a bit longer & more expensive

Thanks for the link, I'll contact the dealer. Mine is a manual.

you'll need a pigtail from cummins in order to get the high idle to work. . .it goes into ECM plug B pin 22 then just ground that somewhere to the frame. get the high idle enabled throught the dealer adn your good.

Does anyone know where I can order a pin for the ECM so I can do the high idle mod when I get home?

It's snowing like crazy at home, and I don't want to spend a day looking for one at a Cummins dealership 50 miles away
