Default Lowered 3500 dully

I just purchased a 07 MegaCab with the 6.7 and 6-speed auto trans. Sweet truck, love it. I am looking for a lowering kit or the correct components to lowered the truck. I would like to lower it about 4-5 inches in the rear and about two up front. I am planning on getting some 22" 10-lugs wheels to fill those fenders. I tow my 8'x20' enclosed car/bike trailer so I will add some air bags in the rear just in case to level the load. I am having trouble finding the proper components/kit to lower the truck... any suggestions? I appreciate your assistance. Thank you!

Sorry I have no expirience with the lowering portion of a truck. I used to love the look of lowered dually's, Chebys in particular in the early 90's. My style now is if you can touch the clouds you are in good hands

I found this in the rollcall thread. Guy posted it but hasn't posted since.

I have a 2003 dually and would like to drop it a little. I am going to build my own setup for the rear. I am going to base it off of the Kelderman kit. http://www.keldermanairride.com/
They make awesome air ride systems. I'm not sure if they have anything out for your truck yet but it would be a good place to start. I don't know what kind of fabrication abilities you have or if you would even want to mess with it, but they really aren’t that hard to build.

I have seen some kits for the fronts that I believe came with front a-arms and the bags. You could get by with just the bags if you are only going down 2 inches. You would just have to get your bags set where you want them and then hope that it will align in. I haven't done it to mine yet but I would think that it would align. I did it to my Dakota and it dialed in fine. If I come across the front end kits ill post some up.

It wouldn't hurt to give air ride technologies a call. http://www.ridetech.com/They know their stuff.

Check out Auto Parts Warehouse dot com for lowering kits. They have a 1.5 front/4.3 rear spring and flip kit for around $860 but it includes shocks, shims, and bumpstops. I just bought the 2" shackles for my '06 2500 srw mega cab and will be installing them soon. The shackles were under $100 and shouldn't affect ride quality or load capacity.
