From the 48re guys running jr I haven't heard them complaining about it roasting their stock trannys on 70HP and a few brave souls have run 100HP on the auto without slippingverymindful of the factI would think (I wouldnt have that kind of patience). I think you're plenty safewith 70but like you say no idea at all if the guywith your truck the first 15K beat on the trans or what. You can tear one up with 70 if you ragg on it constantly. If it annoys you or gets worse do like triton and nick says back to stockthenlet the dealer look and maybe they will warranty.
Yeah that was the thing I ran the 70 setting for not even 700miles of highway so... I thought it was wierd, gonna try not to do much drivin and have it on stock when I do just to be safe.... cause I know its goin out...or somethin is...[&:]sucks cause my best milage is on 70hp even around town from the little I've ran it on that setting
When you set the ecm to stock I would even go so far as to put the stock intake back on there. You know well enough reading forumsthey can be real @$$holes when it comes to warranty and blame any little thing to avoidthateven though intake has no relation to trans. I've still got my stock intakein the atticjust for that reason.
Yeah I WOULD but the guy that owned it before me put the intake on it so, I got no choice, when I sold my last truck I put a box with all the stock stuff in it incase they needed it...
