Been having trouble with the shifter not clicking into park. Seem like sometimes it get caught up and i have to move it back and try again. But then sometimes it will be fine and go right into park no problem. the dealer said that they need to adjust the shifter cable..Will this fix the problem??..Any Tech out there heard of this problem before..Thanks for your help Allen..

how many miles ya got? is it under warranty..extended maybe???

 

I would think it ought to fix the problem.

Personally, I'd be kinda quick to get to it as there's the chance that the spool valve that the cable works, is not quite making it into the true park position. As such, it may be partially applying the forward clutch, heating it with the discs and steels dragging.
