I run the Rotella 15W-40 in my '07 5.9L. I just use the regular oil instead of the synthetic. I change the oil and filtermyself in mine every 3,000 miles. I always used Shell Rotella in the International Dumptruck I drove everyday for my Town Highway Department when I worked there. Never had no engines problems related to the oil.

I've used Rotella in every diesel I've owned from tractor/trailer to p-ups never had a problem.Total miles used approx. 2million.
