Keyless upgrade to the new one?

Keyless upgrade to the new one?
Has anyone upgraded the from the keyless entry flob to the newer one peice keyless entry/key? Is it even posiable? I would like to thin down my keyring. If this has been hashed out please send me the threds so Ican read them.

you know. . .thats a VERY good question and I dont see why it wouldnt work.
hopefully Parts/service will see this and can tell you exactly if it will work or not since he's a service writer at a dealership.

Hopefully someone knows about this as I have looked every where for this information as well and haven't been able to find anything. I tried talking to the local dealerships where I am and all I got from them was an "I don't know" from everyone in their parts/service departments.
