Thanks Jake I'll try that on the next one. But like I said the dealer is doing this under warranty, so what ever they want to do I guess.Like I said earler I let u guys know what I come up with at the dealer. Up here in the north it gets down to -35c without the windchill so therefore everyone runs thinner oil, there is a guy here that runs 0-40 ALL year round and not just around town but long trips haulin a 20' 5er at that. He says he has had no probs!

I have 104k miles on my 05 using shell rotella 5w40 synthetic.. been using it for the last 70k miles, due to the colder climes of Northern Alberta.(I use it year round)So far no issues!

Thanks for all the help. I've gone as far as 9K before I changed the oil and I didn't use any more oil then I do at the 3-5K oil change. I'll check and see if the crank breather tube or breather holes are plugged. ykdodger, be sure and update us when you get your rig back!
